Supplementary Courses

Student, Joe Toth, with internship colleagues at Environmental Protection AgencyIn addition to the core Federal Fellows seminar course, students must take two supplementary courses. These courses are intended to enhance students' knowledge of public policy and/or issues related to the subject matter of the concentration. Each course must be a minimum of 3 credits and taken at the university. Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate credit from secondary school do not count. Pre-approved supplementary courses are listed below (grouped alphabetically), but the lists are not exhaustive. Students are welcome to propose other UMD courses they believe to be related to their policy concentration. Courses completed prior to beginning the program year may be used to satisfy this requirement.
