How to Apply

Applications are submitted through our Online Application form. After making an account by logging in via UMD, you can work on the application over multiple sittings. The application includes several brief essays and a variety of questions. You will be asked to rank your top three program concentrations, or fall seminars. You may choose any of our 13 concentrations, regardless of whether they are part of the Federal, Global, or Maryland branch.     A completed online admissions packet will include:

  • Resume
  • Complete Online Application form
  • Letter of recommendation (optional)

  • Eligibility

  • 30 credits completed by the end of spring semester 2024 (Sophomore, Junior, and Senior standing)
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0
